Announcement on the recruitment of participants for the Training Program on the Development of Criminal Justice and the Application of Modern Standards

The Public Organization
“Human Rights Center,” in partnership with the International Partnership for
Human Rights (IPHR), within the framework of the project “Supporting Civil
Society Action to Promote the Rule of Law for All in Tajikistan” implemented
with the financial support of the European Union, announces an open call for
participants to join a training program dedicated to studying modern approaches
and standards in the development of criminal justice.
The program is aimed at
representatives of civil society organizations who are interested in deepening
their knowledge of the functioning of the criminal justice system,
international standards, and their application in the national context.
The training program is designed to:
– studying key directions in the development of
criminal justice;
– familiarizing participants with international
standards and best practices in the field of the rule of law;
– developing analytical and research skills in the
field of justice;
– fostering a professional understanding of how
various elements of the criminal justice system function in practice.
Within the framework of
the program, participants will work with a structured analytical methodology
covering the main stages and institutions of criminal justice—from the
development of criminal policy to the execution of sentences.
Special attention will be
given to the consideration of various social and demographic factors, including
gender and age aspects, in the analysis of access to justice and law
enforcement practices.
Participation is open to representatives of civil
society organizations (CSOs) and initiative groups working in the field of
human rights, as well as in criminal justice and the rule of law.
Priority will be given to:
– candidates from the regions;
– participants working with women, youth, and socially
vulnerable groups;
– candidates interested in long-term professional
development in this field.
Program participants will receive:
– participation in training sessions (online and
offline);
– access to expert materials and analytical tools;
– opportunities to work with practical cases and
examples;
– expert consultations and mentorship throughout the
training process;
– a certificate of participation (upon successful completion of the program).
Working languages: Tajik and Russian
How to apply?
To participate, applicants must submit an application
in free form.
Selection will be based
on:
– the candidate’s motivation;
– work experience;
– willingness to participate in the training seminar.

Please note that the number of places in the program
is limited; therefore, submitting an application does not guarantee
participation. Priority will be given to representatives
of civil society organizations with experience in the field of human rights, a
high level of motivation for learning, and clear plans for applying the
acquired knowledge in their professional activities.
